Join us on this thrilling challenging scenic trekking circuit through one of the most beautiful parks in Chile, Torres del Paine. Hike through wonderful green valleys, lush-green Patagonian forest, alongside granite giants and touch the enigmatic ice-field considered the world third largest ice field. Hit the most popular trekking trails such as The French Valley, Grey Glacier, Las Torres and the Cuernos which are part of the popular W trekking circuit. ITINERARY

DAY 1
PUERTO NATALES / ARRIVAL DAY

Arrival at any time.
Upon arrival at your hotel, enjoy time at your leisure.

Things to do:

Visit the Municipal Historical Museum
Have a glimpse of hand monument (along the seashore)
Take a walk to the Wind Monument
Climb up to Cerro Dorotea (great views over the city)

DAY 2
TORRES DEL PAINE / SERON CAMP

Early pick-up in your hotel to be transferred to the bus terminal to board a bus to Torres del Paine National Park.
Upon arrival, you'll go through checkpoint procedures and continue the trip to Cerro Paine Reserve's Welcome Center. Begin the hike towards Serón Campsite. Along the way, enjoy views of the striking silhouettes of the Torres del Paine and Almirante Nieto mountains, and hike through beech forest, a large valley of daisies to reach the final destination, Serón Campsite.

DAY 3
TORRES DEL PAINE / DICKSON CAMP

A long but unforgettable trekking day awaits today. Hike, up and downhill slopes, along the clear waters of the Paine river while feeling the Patagonian winds and enjoying spectacular views of the peaks around.
We'll spend the night at the Dickson sector, situated by the glacial lake next to the world's third-largest Ice Field.

DAY 4
TORRES DEL PAINE / LOS PERROS CAMP

Start your hike southwest towards the Los Perros campsite. Along the way, enjoy views of the Dickson glacier, hike through the beautiful lenga beech forest, have a chance to see the Magellanic woodpeckers tapping on the beech trees and cross Los Perros Glacier. Upon arrival, enjoy free time in the quiet Campsite of Los Perros.

*In the Perros Camp, all meals provided are only lunch boxes due to the lack of restaurant service.

DAY 5
TORRES DEL PAINE / GREY GLACIER CAMP

An exhausting but spectacular day lies ahead. Trek through a slippery and swampy terrain, climb up to the windy pass John Gardner, where you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Southern Ice Field, filled with cracks and rare blue and green ice shapes. Take a long descent on a rocky trail to cross over two suspension bridges, with more than 50 metres long crosses impressive gorges with amazing views of Grey Glacier. Continue towards the Grey Glacier sector to spend the night.

DAY 6
TORRES DEL PAINE / PAINE GRANDE REFUGE

This morning, enjoy spare time to rest or join an optional activity. Afterwards, start a gentle hike to Paine Grande Refugio.
Optional activity:
Kayak in Grey Glacier, adventure out to kayak in the Grey lake while enjoying a splendid view of the glacier. Please, advise us ahead if you wish to book this activity.

DAY 7
TORRES DEL PAINE / FRENCH VALLEY / FRENCH CAMP

After breakfast, start a gentle hike to the Italiano campsite. Then immerse into the striking Francés Valley while enjoying the fantastic views this beautiful valley offers. Continua up to the Británico campsite to enjoy views of the enigmatic peaks surrounding the Británico and Francés valleys.
Make your way back on the same trail back to the Italiano campsite. Continue on an easy path until you reach the French camp, where you will spend the night.

DAY 8
TORRES DEL APINE / CENTRAL REFUGE

Today's hike will take you through the Patagonian beech trees forest and along the turquoise water lake, Nordenskjöld. The trail offers magnificent views of Cuernos (horns) of Paine, lovely landscape and the Paine mountain range. Hike gentle uphills and downhills and what is called the Patagonian flat (ups and downs). Before reaching Refugio Central, meet the outstanding Almirante Nieto massif. Upon arrival at Refugio central, enjoy some spare time.

DAY 9
TORRES DEL PAINE / LAS TORRES / PUERTO NATALES

Start with an early morning to hike up to the base of the most alluring towers, Las Torres del Paine, which has given the name to the national park.
Begin hiking across La Pampa (flat surface), followed by the first ascent to reach a wind pass. Continue down into the Arsenio valley to Refugio Chileno. From here, trek through the Patagonian forest while climbing some small hills to reach the base of the rocky trail. Continue for 1km/0.621 miles on a steep path to reach Las Torres lake, where you'll have astonishing views of the towers of Paine (the granite giants). Spend some time to take in all the beauty. Take the same trail back to the start point. If you have some time, take it to relax before catching your bus back to Puerto Natales.
Upon arrival in Puerto Natales, a transfer will be waiting for you in the bus terminal to transfer you to your hotel.

DAY 10
PUERTO NATALES / DEPARTURE DAY

After these wonderful challenging-9-days through one of the most thrilling but beautiful trekking circuits, it's time to end your trip. We hope you had a fantastic time, and we wish to see you again to explore more of South America.

VISAS
Please visit the relevant consular website of the countries you'll be visiting for more detailed and up-to-date visa information. If you need a visa, please obtain your visa in advance.

HEALTH AND CERTIFICATIONS
Chile does not require any vaccination certificates from travellers to enter the country. However, travellers should stay up-to-date on their vaccines. Recommended vaccines include measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine, diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis vaccine, varicella (chickenpox) vaccine, hepatitis A, B, typhoid, rabies and yellow fever vaccine.

SAFETY
Puerto Natales is a very safe city to walk around. However, if your travels include Santiago de Chile and If you do find time to explore on your own, below are some key precautions to take:

Request a taxi service through the hotel staff. If you are more familiar with UBER which is available in the city, you can use the apps to call a UBER cab.
Wear your backpack/bag to the front when walking through bigger crowds.
Do not carry your wallet in the back pocket of your trousers.
Avoid wearing fancy jewellery.
Leave original documents, credit cards in the hotel safe box, taking the bare minimum of cash with you. It’s always a good idea to hide cash in different parts of your clothes.
A neck/waist money belt can be very handy to keep cash hidden.
In restaurant/cafes, do not hang your bag/backpack on the arm of the chairs or leave it sitting on the floor.
At night, always walk on well-lit streets.
Withdraw cash only during the day and from ATMs located inside banks or guarded ATMs.
Cover ATMs keyboard with one hand when typing your PIN.
Do not get into a car by someone’s invitation, even if it's a police car.

TRANSPORTATION
The radio-taxi system works well and is represented by black and yellow vehicles. We recommend ordering a taxi service through the hotel staff. If you prefer, you can also hail one from the street or use the UBER app. All radio taxis work with meters.
If you wish to experience Santiago's public transportation system, the easiest one to use is the tube/underground/subway system called Metro, available to reach most of the tourist areas. You can purchase a metro ticket on the go.
