  • Santa Cruz Island 
Visit a local reserve, one of the best places in the archipelago for giant tortoises in their natural habitat and explore a lava tunnel nearby. Explore the rocky coastline, Punta Carrion, which shows rock formations and diverse wildlife. Grab your snorkel gear to swim in the refreshing water with playful sea lions and dozens of reef fish — different types of puffers, surgeonfish, angelfish, groupers, hogfish, hawkfish, parrotfish, etc. — and hopefully catch a glimpse of white-tipped reef sharks.
  • Santiago Island
​Explore Puerto Egas and take a walk on its black-sand beach while watching reintroduced land iguanas, a variety of bird species and fur seals amid a landscape of tuff-stone layers, jagged rocks, and lava flows. Visit the Chinese Hat Islet, which offers excellent swimming and snorkelling opportunities amid white-tipped reef sharks and Galapagos penguins.
  • Genovesa Island
Take a panga ride along Genovesa Island cliffs nicknamed Bird Island. Walk on a flat plateau where you'll see large colonies of Nazca boobies, red-footed boobies, great frigatebirds, and storm petrels. Tour the white-sand beach of Darwin Bay and walk amid hundreds of birds such as frigatebirds, red-footed and Nazca boobies, gulls, herons, finches, and mockingbirds.
  • Santa Fé Island
Explore another white-sand beach populated by colonies of sea lions and Galapagos hawks, which are often perched atop salt bushes and hopefully Santa Fe land iguanas. Snorkel and swim along a natural wave barrier or take a ride on the glass-bottom boat.

Start and endpoint of our trip
  • Santa Cruz Island 
Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station and the Giant Tortoise Breeding Center, and have a stroll along the streets of Puerto Ayora. Climb the small Dragon hill, which offers some wildlife such as ducks, American flamingos, land iguanas and fantastic views. Along the tour, grab your snorkel gear and jump in the refreshing water. You might be able to spot stingrays, green turtles, and sharks.
  • Bartolomé Island
Climb a wooden staircase for fantastic panoramic views and take a panga ride around the colossal Pinnacle Rock in search of Galapagos penguins and wildlife.
  • Santiago Island
​Explore Sullivan Bay and take a swim on its white-sand beach. Take a look at a lava field formed around 100 years ago. It is the perfect place to understand the Galapagos island's volcanic origin. 
Walk the footsteps of Charles Darwin at James Bay, where he found many bird species such as finches, mockingbirds, yellow warblers and Galapagos doves, hawks, and flamingos. Hike uphill to a blackish water crater.
  • Isabela Island
Explore the coastline of Punta Vicente Roca, where you'll find abundant wildlife, colonies of Galapagos fur seals, Nazca boobies, flightless cormorants, penguins, and marine iguanas. Snorkel along the cliffs, hopefully in the company of green sea turtles, followed by navigation along the Bolivar Channel.
  • Fernandina Island
Visit the archipelago's youngest island, considered arguably one of the planet's most pristine ecosystems. Visit Punta Espinoza, a fantastic combination of apparently barren landscapes and abundant wildlife, which includes hawks, penguins, marine iguanas and flightless cormorants.

  • Baltra Island
This trip starts and ends at the airport of Baltra Island
  • Santa Cruz Island 
Visit a couple of brackish lagoons nearby the beautiful Las Bachas beach. The lagoons are a feeding ground for various wading birds, from stilts to flamingos. Enjoy a swim on Las Bachas beach. Explore Eden Islet, located off the Santa Cruz island coast, where one can see blue-footed boobies, reef sharks, and frigates. The volcanic setting of this area is quite stunning.
  • San Cristobal Island
At Cerro Colorado, visit the highly endangered giant tortoises breeding centre, located in a deciduous forest, home to dozens of bird species, including the San Cristobal mockingbird and the endemic San Cristobal lava lizard. Hike up to Punta Pitt, home to the 3-species of boobies, two frigate-birds species and a colony of bachelor sea lions. Enjoy fantastic views of the beautiful landscape.
  • Española Island
​Walk on a white coral beach in Garden Bay to observe the sea lions, mockingbirds and finches. A spot for a snorkel, kayak or simply an inflatable dinghy ride. Take an exciting hike at Punta Suarez, where the trail leads you across lava/boulder terrain. Along the way, enjoy views of sea bird colonies, including the beautiful waved albatrosses, boobies, swallow-tail gulls, and the famous “blowhole”.
  • Floreana Island
Take an outing to Cormorant Point to enjoy a walk on a green-tinged, olivine-crystal beach and visit a brackish water lagoon, home to American flamingos. Snorkel at Champion Islet (one of the very few islets that hold a Floreana Mocking bird population) or take a ride on our glass-bottom zodiac. Set foot on the Baroness cove and visit the historic barrel, an informal post office in the archipelago for over two centuries, located in the Post Office Bay.
  • Isabela Island
Sail through the mangroves in search of sea turtles to Punta Moreno while enjoying great views of the southern side giant volcanoes of Isabela Island. Take a walk on a rugged trail with unique lava formations, pioneer lava cactus, exotic scalesia trees and plenty of wildlife: Galapagos penguins, flightless cormorants, brown pelicans, herons, sea lions, marine iguanas, and dozens of Sally Lightfoot crabs. The inland lagoons are home to Bahama-pintail ducks, common stilts, Galapagos flamingos, and even Galapagos hawks and mockingbirds.
  • Fernandina Island
Explore Fernandina’s coastline aboard our pangas (inflatable dinghies). The archipelago’s youngest ecosystem is home to the Galapagos penguins and green-eyed flightless cormorants. You might see beneath the waves stingrays and sea turtles swimming. The nutrient-rich waters of the Bolivar Channel, which separates the Fernandina and Isabela islands, attract dolphins and whales. 
  • Seymour Island
Tour one of the best sites in the archipelago, the Northside of Seymour island. Take a walk along the coast, where you can spot numerous nesting frigate birds, land iguanas and sea lions colonies, and enjoy snorkelling along with your visit.

CABIN CATEGORIES

Yacht Isabela II is a spacious Galapagos yacht with a total of three decks. Its convenient layout allows guests to easily find their way around, too. The ship also has it all: a restaurant, social areas, a hot tub, a cardio gym, a bar and lounge, and even a library with a computer station.
A total of 20 spacious and spotless cabins (all of which have their own private bathroom) offer room for up to 40 guests. A wide variety of cabin options are available, giving our guests in the Galapagos the choice of choosing from Classic, Classic Family, Standard, and the Owner’s Cabins.

TRAVELER TIPS

VISAS
Please visit the relevant consular website of the countries you'll be visiting for more detailed and up-to-date visa information. If you need a visa, please obtain your visa in advance.

HEALTH AND CERTIFICATIONS
Most countries in South America do not require any vaccination certificates from travellers to enter the countries. However, travellers should stay up-to-date on their vaccines including measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine, diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis vaccine, varicella (chickenpox) vaccine, hepatitis A, B, typhoid, rabies and yellow fever vaccine.  If your itinerary includes subtropical and tropical regions/areas, it's recommended to vaccinate against Hepatitis B and yellow fever. 

SAFETY 
Pickpocketing is a common crime in some large cities. If you do find time to explore on your own, below are some key precautions to take:
  1. Request a taxi service through the hotel staff. You can also call UBER which operates in a few cities.
  2. Wear your backpack/bag to the front when walking through bigger crowds.
  3. Do not carry your wallet in the back pocket of your trousers.
  4. Avoid wearing fancy jewellery.
  5. Leave original documents, credit cards in the hotel safe box, taking the bare minimum of cash with you. It’s always a good idea to hide cash in different parts of your clothes.
  6. A neck/waist money belt can be very handy to keep cash hidden.
  7. In restaurant/cafes, do not hang your bag/backpack on the arm of the chairs or leave it sitting on the floor.
  8. Always take note of the serial numbers of your larger bills (ie: 20, 50, 100 and 200 Soles) before paying taxi drivers and small shops. There were a few cases where travellers were told their bills were fake. By taking note of the serial numbers before use, you stand a better chance of getting your money back.
  9. At night, always walk on well-lit streets.
  10. Withdraw cash only during the day and from ATMs located inside banks or guarded ATMs.
  11. Cover ATMs keyboard with one hand when typing your PIN.
  12. Do not get into a car by someone’s invitation, even if it's a police car.

TRANSPORTATION
Public transportation in some countries is not well organised. However, in some large cities, public transportation is well established and available to reach tourist areas. To use public transportation, please ask the hotel staff for detailed information.
Another way to move around is through radio taxis. Some countries have the taxi system regulated such as Brasil, Chile, Argentina and Ecuador where taxis use meters, other countries, taxis have not been regulated (no taximeters) which means you must negotiate the taxi fare first before getting into a taxi. Otherwise, risk paying the foreigner price. From/to the International Airport, you should arrange a taxi with your hotel or a transfer company before arrival/departure for a fixed fare. 
​Upon boarding a taxi, always make sure the driver sets up the taximeter, you must request it otherwise.
