Day 1 Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, you'll be greeted by your driver who will assist you with your transfer to your hotel located in the centre of Buenos Aires. Explore nearby and historical sites of this fascinating city through a 4-hour walking tour. |

Buenos Aires - Trelew - Puerto Madryn
Day 2 Today's itinerary begins after breakfast with a pick-up in the hotel. Transfer to the local airport for your upcoming flight to Trelew. Upon arrival, transfer to Puerto Madryn, a coastal city located in the North of Patagonia where the Southern right whale arrives every year to breed. |

Puerto Madryn - Sightseeing
Day 3 Enjoy a thrilling vehicle tour through the Wildlife Reserve, Península Valdés, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. Stop by the Estancia San Lorenzo, a traditional sheep farm to enjoy a delicious lamb bbq lunch. After lunch, head to a penguin colony, home to about 500,000 Magellanic penguins and onto the Wildlife Reserve Punta Norte to see Southern sea lions and perhaps even get a glimpse of the adorable Southern elephant seals. Day 4 Today, head back to Trelew to take a flight to El Calafate flying to the end of the world first (Ushuaia) and after a short stop, taking off towards the city entrance to the most famous Perito Moreno Glacier. |

Day 5 Begin an electrifying guided private excursion to Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the most beautiful and unique glaciers in Patagonia. Walk through the pathways along the front face of these majestic white giant walls. OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES:

Day 6 Transfer to El Calafate airport for your upcoming flight to Bariloche, the city entrance of the Argentina lake region, well known for its chocolate production. Take some time this afternoon to explore the town and taste some good chocolate. |

Bariloche - Short Circuit Tour
Day 7 Start the day with a half-day guided exploration through the popular short circuit. Enjoy great views of Nahuel Huapi and Moreno lakes, and lush green landscapes. Take a chairlift ride up to Cerro Campanario Summit (1,050 m/3,444 ft) where you'll enjoy one of the world's best views while drinking a delicious hot chocolate/coffee. Tour the architectural hotel, Llao Llao Hotel and Colonia Suiza (Suisse colony) where the first Suisse immigrants settled down at the end of the 19th century. |

Bariloche - 7 Lakes Circuit - San Martin de Los Andes
Day 8 The 7 Lakes Circuit Tour takes you around beautiful blue water lakes, a lush Patagonian forest and Villa La Angostura City, known as the Patagonian garden city due to its surroundings. End the tour in San Martin de Los Andes, a historical city which was the last city to establish sovereignty during the Argentina military campaign, Campaña del Desierto. |

San Martin de los Andes - Eclipse Day
Day 9 On board a private vehicle, drive through historical routes (Route 40 to Route 234 to Route 237) to reach the eclipse location located between the towns of Piedra del Aguila and Bajada Colorada, stopping aong the way for photos of the scenic landscape before arriving at the long-awaited location to witness the phenomenal astronomical event of a total solar eclipse. Return to San Martin de los Andes after the eclipse. Argentina does not require any vaccination certificates to enter the country. However, travellers should stay up-to-date on their vaccines, especially if you are planning to extend your traveling through Misiones (Iguazu Falls), Formosa, Corrientes, El Chaco, Salta and Jujuy. Recommended vaccines include measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine, diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis vaccine, varicella (chickenpox) vaccine, hepatitis A, B, typhoid, rabies and yellow fever vaccine.
SAFETY
All cities that you will be traveling through on this tour are very safe. If you do find time to explore on your own, below are some key precautions to take:

The radio-taxi system works well and is represented by black and yellow vehicles in most cities of Argentina. We recommend ordering a taxi service through the hotel staff. If you prefer, you can also hail one from the street. All radio taxis work with meters. Avoid paying with large bills. If smaller notes are not available, pay careful attention to the serial number that stretches across the top right corner of every bill before handing it over to the driver. Some taxi drivers tend to swap your money with a fake note, but if you have knowledge of the serial number, you will stand a better chance of getting your money back. Large notes come in 200, 500 and 1000 peso denominations. Taxis can only be paid with cash in the local currency.

- Do not carry your wallet in the back pocket of your trousers.
- Avoid wearing fancy jewellry.
- Leave original documents, credit cards in the hotel safe box, taking the bare minimum of cash with you. It’s always a good idea to hide cash in different parts of your clothes.
- A neck/waist money belt can be very handy to keep cash hidden.
- In restaurant/cafes, do not hang your bag/backpack on the arm of the chairs or leave it sitting on the floor.
- Always take note of the serial numbers of your larger bills (ie: 100, 200, 500 and 1000 Argentinean Pesos) before paying taxi drivers and small shops. There were a few cases where travellers were told their bills were fake. By taking note of the serial numbers before use, you stand a better chance of getting your money back.
- At night, always walk on well lit streets.
- Withdraw cash only during the day and from ATMs located inside banks or guarded ATMs.
- Cover ATMs keyboard with one hand when typing your pin number.
- Do not get into a car by someone’s invitation, even if it's a police car.
